A month and a new day

It is hard to believe that nearly a month has passed since I set up this blog.

So much and so little has happened in that time. For the last three weeks I did nothing but research for, redesign, write content for, and implement the new version of CoTradeCo. I don't think anyone I know understood where I disappeared to or why. I spent every waking moment, minus a few hours every few days for an intense bike ride, towards my goal of an improved site experience for CoTradeCo. Nothing else mattered. To a certain extent that is still true as I see CoTradeCo as my future, a new way of life, a valuable contribution to the world, that will also provide me some financial freedom to continue making valuable contributions to the world and my own life.

Unfortunately we are a long way from having an online resource that is alrady that valuable contribution. There is simply too much too do, our team is too small, resources too few. But every week we move closer.

In the meantime, I will settle for a slightly better website, and a much improved store. I have reconciled the need to achieve a modicum of financial independence with my loftier philosophical goals.

Hopefully now that the major push on CoTradeCo is over, I can resume more sensible "work" hours. I have already taken a few days to hit the trails, begin assembling my notes and preparing to continue on my novel, and spent time with friends. All of which had been seriously affected by my obsessive need to bring CoTradeCo to another level as if we had a larger team.

Now this blog should become part of the routine as well.
